Day's Narrative: Today was a relaxing day. We went shopping for a few things at Walmart across the street, I oiled my bike chain and Connie rode her recumbent bicycle around the parking lot.

This morning at breakfast we met the owners of the motel restaurant, Waylen and Cinda Appel. See photo. Cinda is also a reporter for the Woodward newspaper and said she plans to do an article about my bicycle trip across Oklahoma.

Tomorrow I plan to ride to Fairview, a distance of about 60 miles. The local weather forecast predicts a light headwind.
