Day's Narrative: We are staying in Mankato a second day because of bad weather. The prediction is that Wednesday and the next few days after that will be sunny with pleasant temperatures.

From the map, it's beginning to look like the entire trip will be about 3500 miles (5600 km). We are a little over halfway now, I think.

I should mention that I continue to update a day on the web page even into the next day, because I later remember things that happened.
