August 19th
We can now call Chapel Hill home. Lynne started school this week and I have been doing yardwork and getting the house all in order. It is nice to nest and relax a little after 6 weeks on the road!
At the Epidemeology Department picnic the other day a professor asked us which places on our trip we liked the most.. . it took us a while to answer, but we think our favorite places were Flaming Gorge, the Oregon coast and San Francisco. This, of course does not include New Mexico which is always our top choice.
I still can't believe how many hits we have had on this web site-- we averaged 270 per day or thereabouts. Lynne thinks that people found the site on search engines, but I think it was my Mom hitting "reload" so we wouldn't feel lonely! Taking pictures and uploading them really wasn't too much of a big deal, sometimes it was a pain late at night, but in the end it was well worth the effort.
Thanks for joining us on our trip!
Please feel free to write us and tell us how you enjoyed our little web experiment.
Here are some final pictures of our new environment.
Love,
Lynne and Robby
